Hi, I’m Daryl and I’ve been successfully teaching music and guitar for many years in primary schools, music schools, music stores and privately.

My formal teaching qualifications are Dip Tchg (Primary) and Grad Dip Ed (Mus) and in recent years, numerous online music courses.

My chosen instrument is the guitar, and I’ve honed my music making skills through years of playing in and around Melbourne in dance bands from the late 70s to the present.

In 2020 I returned from 3 years overseas where my wife was teaching English in the French International School of Kyiv, Ukraine. I was inspired by the high level of achievement in the performing arts, attained in their music schools.

Children of all ages can learn singing, instrumental music, dance and even acting. I believe the Arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education.
