Voice
My name is Eleanor, I am 26 years old and when I am not teaching music lessons, I work as an Educator at a kindergarten for children with additional needs and as a disability support worker for children and adults. I am currently studying a bachelors in early childhood and Primary Education, with hopes to become a music therapist in the future. I am passionate about music and the benefit it has on not only children and children with additional needs, but everyone!
My music journey began when I started getting piano lessons with Carol at the age of five. When I was twelve I started singing lessons. I studied music and voice in VCE at high school and was a member of the school choir. I also had the opportunity to be the lead vocalist in one of the productions within the school. After I completed year 12, I went on to study a Bachelor in Music for a year at the Australian Institute of Music. However, It was here that I decided I wanted to teach music, and decided to study Early Childhood and Primary Education.
In the meantime, I have also written and recorded two of my own songs. Music is such an integral part of my life and it has brought joy in times of darkness. It is a vehicle for me to switch off from life and harness my emotions into my music. I endeavour to pass my love and passion for music to my students and support them through their singing journey, encouraging them to be confident and most importantly, have fun!
