Hi, I’m Tom, and I’ve been playing piano since I was seven years old and have always enjoyed it. I’m currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University.

Apparently, maths and music work hand-in-hand, and that has certainly been the case for me, as I feel my strong interest in maths has assisted in my music. It works the other way around too, playing a musical instrument enhances people’s ability to understand maths.

Apart from piano, I enjoy playing hockey, tennis, cricket and saxophone. After playing in various musical bands at school, and progressing through the AMEB exams, I now hope to help those learning piano to do so in an enjoyable and rewarding way.
